About the Client
Listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, my client is one of the leading property developer in Greater China with multiple spots. To cope with their growing business strategy, they are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join the management team.
About the Role
Reporting into the CFO, you will lead over 20 headcount across Hong Kong and China, being fully responsible for the finance operations and group level reporting of the Group. You will develop organisational strategies by contributing financial data, analysis and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction. You will also lead the team in preparing interim and annual reports as well as play a critical part in as well as looking after the tax function. In addition, you will review the internal controls and ensure it's properly maintained.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will be a degree holder in Accounting or related subjects with a recognized CPA qualification. You should have at least 20 years progessive track record of success and acquired at least 10 years of leadership experience, preferably in real estate. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is essential.
