About the Client
Our client is a well established real estate developer with prestige projects and a listing status in Hong Kong. To cope with their continuous growth, they are looking for a Group Financial Controller to manage the group level reporting and business operations of the organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will have full accountability of the Finance function and manage a sizeable team of accountants based in Hong Kong. You will be in charge of the interim and annual reporting as well as assisting the CFO in handling any potential M&A deals. In addition, you be responsible for the treasury and taxation matters as well as identify and key areas for improvement on the internal control of the team.
The Successful Applicants
To qualify, you should be a degree holder in Accounting of related discipline with at least 18 years of experience and 10 years of senior management experience. You should have strong technical knowledge in HKFRS, Hong Kong listing rules and industry experience in real estate. To be able to manage a large and experienced team, you should have a strong record of leadership and people management skills. Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.
