Head of Credit Risk - SME Banking

About the Role:

As the Head of the Credit Risk Management, you will spearhead the development of methodologies for managing credit risk across the bank. You will enhance the credit reporting and monitoring framework to meet the needs of various stakeholders and ensure that credit policies and standards reflect best practices as directed by the Board. Overseeing credit operations, including approval, administration, and collections, you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of credit risk reports and conduct prompt credit analysis. You will integrate FinTech solutions and modern modelling techniques, such as AI and machine learning, into credit risk management. Your role will involve accurate reporting of credit risk information to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation of reports for the Board Risk Committee. Additionally, you will contribute to risk-related projects, including stress testing and IFRS 9, focusing on credit measurement and data management. You will also provide input on system implementation projects related to credit risk.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15 years of experience in Corporate or SME credit risk management area.
  • Knowledge of technologies and API models.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin.
