Head of Finance
About the Company
Our client is a HK based conglomerate with regional business coverage. To cope with their needs for strategic business development and project management, they are inviting an experienced finance business partner to head up their finance department and work closely with various business unit leaders.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a strategic role. You will be the project leader for initiatives to streamline operation and identify new revenue streams. You will provide analytical support for tendering/ joint business partnership/ M&A and involve in presentations for the Investment Committee. You will evaluate the profitability of different business lines and work closely with various business unit heads for performance enhancement. You will manage sizable teams for financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting. Also, you will manage their treasury and financing activities and oversee tax compliance and planning. You will review policies and internal control to identify any deficiency and upgrade the existing mechanism to mitigate risks.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance business partner with more than 15 years of relevant work experience. You are expected to be strong at FP&A and able to perform controllership for a regional/ global business. CPA qualification and Big 4 experience are preferred. Track record of driving a sizable business is an advantage. Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and leadership skills are required. Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese are compulsory.
