Our client is a well-established bank with strong Asian presence. As part of the expansion plan, they are currently looking for a Head of HR to be based in Macau. In this role, you will have a dual reporting line functionally and into the business; and be responsible for a client group of 500 leading a team of 6. You will assume a true senior HR Business Partner role - aligning business objectives with employees and management, and serve as the internal consultant to senior stakeholders on all HR-related issues. As a successful HRBP, you will act as an employee champion and change agent to assess and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively within the HR department and across the business, you will seek and develop integrated solutions, formulating partnership across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organisation. The Head of HR also maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business culture, competition and financial positioning.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated with at least 15+ year's stable and progressive experience acquired from sizeable banking corporations. You will demonstrate strong leadership and stakeholders management skills, and someone who has experienced a lot of transformation and change within a role. Despite the seniority of this role, you will be happy to take a hands on approach whilst also the commercial sense to build strong rapport with stakeholders. A dynamic, energetic and positive mindset will help excel in this role and candidates with prior macau exposure and immediate available calibre will be highly regarded.
