About Our Client
Our client is a leading bank in Hong Kong, currently hiring a Head of HR Shared Services for the Human Resources team, as the functional lead. This role would lead a small team, and would oversee operational HR, and HR audit / compliance matters relating to HKMA and HKFI.


About The Role
Reporting into the Chief HR Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Direct operational delivery by establishing priorities with the leadership team and delegating work, and ensuring optimal allocation of resources across the team
  • Drive execution through an effective framework of processes and technology solutions that will deliver high quality service across the colleague lifecycle
  • Serve as a point of escalation for significant operational issues (status changes, terminations, hiring, onboarding, offboarding) from HR Shared Services team and other stakeholders and lead resolution
  • Drive case analysis and issue trends, find opportunities for both process improvement and enhancement of services
  • Leverage and implement new technologies to reinforce service delivery in collaboration with HR Business Partners and other Centers of Excellence
  • Lead process improvement to maximise efficiency, optimise service delivery and ensure a high-quality experience for candidates and colleagues
  • Provide oversight on risk and compliance for HR process and policies
  • Manage and motivate the HR Shared Services team, provide coaching and guidance to support team building and to ensure a culture of excellence, execution and accountability


Requirements
To qualify, you will / have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 15+ years of experience in HR Shared Services, Operations, Process
  • Deep understanding on leveraging technology to improve HR operations
  • Experience leading a shared services organsiation for operations and/or technology
  • Strong people leadership, experience delivering exceptional customer service and managing capacity
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) in Chinese and English, and cross-functional organisational skills
  • Keen eye for continuous improvement
  • Strong influencing, stakeholders management, and project management sklils liaising with senior business leaders
  • Immediately available candidates highly regarded
