Head of Legal and Compliance
Our client is a well established financial institution in the consumer retail space. They have over 20 years of history and a well structured management team. They are now looking for a Head of Legal and Compliance to continue to grow with the business.
Reporting to the CEO and be a member of the executive committee, you will lead a team of 10 in overseeing the legal and compliance function of the business. You will have responsibility over the operations of general compliance, operational risk, anti-money laundering as well as product compliance. You should drive BU heads in implementing effective internal controls and risk management framework and promote a strong compliance and risk culture. You will be key contact point in dealing with related parties and regulatory authorities.
You should be a degree holder in Law, Business Administration or related disciplines with at least 13 years of relevant work experience in compliance from the financial services industry. To cope with the multi channels communication, you need to possess excellent communication and presentation skills as well as solid experience in dealing with regulators, such as SFC. You should have a good command of English and Chinese language in both written and spoken English.
