About Our Client
Our client is a well-established FMCG company that focuses a lot around their talents and well-being. They are now hiring for a Head of Legal (company secretary duties inclusive) to cope with business expansion and strategy.

About The Role
Reporting into the CEO and part of the Executive team, the Head of Legal will servie as the inhouse legal expert responsible for protecting the legal rights of the business through leading corporate strategic and tactical initiatives and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will also deliver company secertarial services as required. With a strong commercial focus, you will develop a risk strategy for the business and embed a legal structure that provides support to pivotal business decisions. Furthermore, your role will lead change and implement continuous improvement in services offered and play an integral role in supporting the business' overarching corporate vision and achievement of strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HK qualified lawyer, with relevant experience in a similar inhouse counsel role or working at partner (or equivalent group leve) within a legal practice. Collaboration and effective engagement across stakeholders are critical, along with a strong customer focus approach influencing senior management's decision. You will also demontrate sound knowledge in copmany secretariat, legal services, audit, risk management and corporate governance. Chinese and English will be required for this role.
