Job Description
Currently helping well known traditional banks and virtual banks looking for senior operational risk candidates for leading positions below:
(1) Department Head - Operational Risk Management (Bank Group)
- To lead the whole department by identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and reporting operational risk via a risk-based approach and in accordance with the Bank's operational risk appetite and strategies and the Enterprise Risk Management framework
- To be the Risk Controller and perform ongoing monitoring of the operational risk of the Bank Group to facilitate timely management decisions and actions where necessary
- To develop specific action plans to address the key risk issues identified by the regulators, lead the department to work closely with risk owner
(2) Section Head - Policy & Governance Team (Bank Group)
- To lead a team responsible for policy setting and assessment of the operational risk of the Bank Group
- To initiate and conduct regulatory-driven and internal risk assessment as well as provide advice on operational risk to entitles of the bank
- To develop the enterprise framework, policies and guidelines in relation to operational risk management
(3) Head of Operational Risk Management (Virtual Bank)
- To set up and on going review risk management policies and procedures
- To conduct Risk and Control Assessment to identify, assess, mitigate and monitor key operational risks and the level of internal controls.
- To monitor and report operational risk incidents and review the adequacy and effectiveness of the mitigating actions
Requirements:
- University graduate in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis or related discipline
- Department Head (Bank): Min. 15 - 20 years' experience in operational risk management with regional exposure and 10 years in a supervisory role
- Section Head (Policy Team- Bank) /Head of Operational Risk (Virtual Bank): Min. 10 years' experience in operational risk management with 5 years' experience in a supervisory role
- Good command of English and Chinese, Putonghua preferable
