About the Client
Our client is a sizeable bank with strong presence across retail and commercial businesses. They are currently inviting a seasoned Finance professional to join as their Head of Regulatory Reporting.
About the Role
The Head of Regulatory Reporting will lead a team to prepare the banking returns aligned with regulatory requirements, and ensure all reportings are carried out in an accurate and timely manner. You will review projections based on regulatory ratios and maintain an update to HKMA and CBRC returns procedures manual as required. You will also take initiative to review and streamline existing reporting workflow, and liaise with external regulators and/or auditors on all regulatory reporting issues. As the team lead, you will also formulate the approaches and encourage team members to perform user acceptance tests.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Accounting, Finance and or relevant discipline, CPA qualified preferred. You will have a minimum 10+ years experience working for Big 4 audit firms, banking and/or financial services sector, with minimum 4+ years team management experience. You will demonstrate solid regulator reporting experience and someone who can contribute with tight deadlines and fast paced environment. You will also be a detail oriented individual with good communications skills in both Chinese and English.
