About Our Client
Our client is a leading commercial bank, currently hiring for a Head of Risk to lead a team of 10, and manage the operational, technology and fraud risk teams, also the internal control / governance function. Ideal candidate will have 15+ year's relevant experience from banking environment and with solid team management and interpersonal skills to take up this challenging Head of position.
About The Role
Reporting into the Chief Risk Officer, you will lead a team of 10 managing operational, technology and fraud risk arena, also support on risk projects and governance in order to keep pace with the evolving regulatory environment and industry's best practices. You will lead bank-wide enhancement and implementation of risk framework(s), methodoogy and tools in line with the Bank's or risk appetite. On top of which, you will also oversee the Risk Management Group's (RMG) internal control function implementing relevant initiatives, policies, tools and promote the awareness of RMG, also reviewing RMG's key processes as required.
Requirements
To qualify, you will be degree qualified in a financial, business, or risk management discipline with sound knowledge of operational, technology and fraud risk management tools & techniques (including risk reporting and monitoring / assurance activities). You will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills managing and influencing multiple stakeholders at senior levels, also a self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing business and regulatory requirements. Teamwork focus with excellence in driving results and delivering satisfaction will also be key to success for this role.
