About The Client
Our client is a global investment bank currently looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to oversee the Front Office / Investment Banking portfolio. The role will interact with and coach senior managers within the designated business group, providing proactive guidance and direction on people issues and efficient HR service delivery in partnership with HR specialist teams across a comprehensive range of HR disciplines and transformational projects.

About The Role
Reporting into the Head of HR for Hong Kong, you will:

  • Develop and maintain an effective and focused relationship with the client group, providing timely and accurate advice and support on all HR-related issues. This would include talent management initiatives, day to day HR activities including employee relations and strategic consultation around recruiting and year-end compensation processes
  • Participate in HR initiatives spanning systems enhancements, data and reporting and various global projects
  • As a proactive, commercial and results-driven HRBP, deliver an exceptional people agenda, resolve and advise on HR issues implementing best HR practices consistent with the company policy and with the strategy of the business

Requirements
The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or relevant disciplines
  • 8-10+ years of solid HR Business Partner experience from the financial services sector, ideally investment banking/asset management/ securities services companies
  • Be an experienced HR Business Partner who is able to operate at a senior level in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Proven practical experience managing employee relations issues and complex compensation structures
  • Provide support and advice on all disciplines (recruitment, reward, employee relations, learning and performance)
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and ability to evaluate people risk
