Job Description
Our client is a global one stop solution supplier of product and solution for consumer retailers. It employes more than 2200 staffs world with operation spanning from China, South East Asia to Europe. Due to business expansion in the region, the team is looking for an Indirect Procurement Director baesd in the headquarter in Hong Kong.
Your role:
- Build global Indirect Procurement function, develop regional sourcing policy and process, raise the bar of compliance by deploying Social Compliance execution, anti-corruption assessment and contract management
- Execute sourcing strategy for Supply Chain, IT, Facilities & MRO, Marketing, HR and Travel.
- Lead of Indirect Procurement Global Transformation project, driving standardization of policies, key processes and best practices, reporting and KPIs.
- Lead the spend and supply base analysis, identified opportunity in cost reduction and complexity reduction.
- Continuously reviewed category strategy with buyers and functional heads to determine short term and long term sourcing strategies, develop strategic supply base with long term contract to stabilize business continuity
- Establish sustainable process in maintaining healthy supply base and supplier record in system.
- Regularly deep dive indirect spend, constantly look for alternative to enhance spend visibility to support sound sourcing strategy
The Successful Candidate:
- At least 8 years professional procurement experience in MNC or sizeable company
- Experience in working in matrix organization
- Experience in managing global/overseas indirect procurement activities and vendors
- Team player. Collaborative in local and global settings.
- Demonstrate strong strategic thinking & business acumen. Can connect the dots across multiple disciplines, data points.
- Can toggle/balance between being strategic and operational.
- Drive changes and transformation. Challenge status quo.
- Technology and digitally savvy. Understand and be able leverage technology to drive supply chain & business efficiency.
- Proficient in Chinese and English
