Headquartered in Hong Kong, our client is a leader in the retail industry with an aggressive expansion plan in place. They are seeking an experienced Insight and Analytic Manager to help build their Hong Kong and China business which is at an early stage of development
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager and managing a team, you will provide execution oversight and strategic leadership to a blended internal and out-sourced 3rd-party solution delivery team focused on providing integrated analytical solutions and insights to various senior stakeholders. This role is critical for the success of the company given the importance of data and analytics in operations and decision-making. Potential candidates for this role will be responsible for customer engagement, demand management, BI solutions assessment and vendor management within their scope of responsibilities. Lastly, you will need to perform regular analysis of data and provide multi-dimensional views of corporate data to support HR, Finance, Operation and Sales team as well as to facilitate senior management decision making at tactical as well as strategic level.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information System, Computing, or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum of 7 years customer data analysis, data warehouse and modelling experience
- Solid experience in carrying out complex analysis of datasets and conducting appropriate data validation
- Highly numerate individual, preferably an information system other related degree with statistics and familiarity with data mining and statistical techniques
- Proficient in Tableau, database/analytics tools and BI solution such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau
- Excellent communication skills for conveying analysis and recommendations to a variety of audiences and executives
- Good command in English and Chinese
