Our client derives data and provides research to institutional investors at tier one hedge funds. To cope with the expanding business in Greater China, they are looking for an Institutional Sales Executive to join the team.
About the Role
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Head of Asia Sales, you will be responsible for new business development in China, prospecting, selling and closing annual research subscriptions in order to achieve sales quota. You will be assigned some existing subscribers' accounts and are expected to perform client retention, subscription renewal and up-selling. You will coordinate between HK, US and UK offices to ensure smooth sales operations.
About the Candidate
- Degree holder with at least 3 years of institutional sales experience in Research or Financial industry
- Solid sales and business development experience in China is a MUST
- Experience selling to hedge funds / institutional investors
- Proven track record of sales quota achievement
- Result driven, excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command in written and spoken English and Mandarin
