About Our Client
My client is a leading financial services with growing presence in Hong Kong. They are looking for a compliance assistant manager to join the high calibre team, focusing in insurance compliance.
About The Role
- Provide advice to business units on compliance-related queries
- Conduct regular compliance review to ensure the Company comply with the regulatory requirements and recommends enhancements/corrective actions
- Carry out investigation and review in relation to insurance compliance-related complaints
- Disseminate insurance compliance-related information and publication to all relevant staff or departments or consultants and provide advice as needed
- Conduct trainings
- Review AML suspicious transaction report and report to JFIU if necessary
- Assist any ad hoc other projects
Requirements
- University degree with minimum 3 years' experience in corporate and regulatory compliance, insurance compliance and dealing with IA (Insurance Authority) experience are musts
- Knowledge on life insurance, general insurance, MPF and other insurance products is a must
- Solid experience in distribution compliance related to training and communication, investigation, dealings with regulators
- Sound knowledge with relevant laws and regulations e.g. IA, MPFA, PD(P)O, etc
- Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Self-motivated and pro-active team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
