About the Client
Our client is one of the major banks in Hong Kong and currently, they are looking for an IT Procurement Officer who is familiar with procurement processing and IT products to join their expanding IT team. It is a new headcount for their team.
About the role
- Engaging in IT procurement process and procedure to handle day-to-day and future IT operations needs (including IT hardware, license, services, etc.)
- Working closely with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and expectation on IT assets
- Analyzing and comparing the quality and price of the market solution in order to optimize the outcomes and performance
- Developing strategies for vendor management and procurement activities
- Reviewing procedures and policy so as to assure accuracy and compliance
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years of solid experience focusing on IT procurement
- With good IT knowledge on differences between products(e.g. Spec of hardware, names/fetures of brands)
- With banking/financial working experience is a plus
- Proactive, independent and friendly candidates who can adapt to dynamics environment
- Fluent in Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
- Candidate with more experience could be considered as Senior Officer
