Our client is stable retailer with steady growth. They are now hiring a junior legal counsel with PQE 3+ to support with upcoming business expansions and projects.
About The Role
As the junior legal counsel, you will work within a sizeable legal team and be responsible for:
- Drafting and reviewing variety of commercial contracts
- Serve as the in-house legal advisor to issues within business operations
- Conduct legal research, update and analyse legal and compliance matters
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsels to address and communicate legal risks and achieve business objectives
- Support on legal-related responsibilities and ad hoc projects
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
- Degree qualified with PQE 3-5+ from reputable law firms and in-house environment, retail industry exposure a definite advantage
- Excellent drafting skills and high attention to detail; alongside strong business acumen will help excel in this role
- Ability and flexibility working within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, self-motivated team player and good time management skills essential
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese required
