About our Client:
Our client is one of the leading assistance service providers and a sister company of a well-known insurance firm. Aiming to leverage on new technologies and provide quality personal service for their customers, they are seeking for a solid experienced Lead Data Scientist to join their data science team.
About our Role:
Reporting to the COO, you will be in charge of all development aspects of AI for the company. You will study and design statistical and machine learning models in new and existing systems, design frameworks and procedures for data transferring and model inferencing and create user-friendly GUI to reduce training cost of ML-based systems. You will identify all potential application of AI techniques as well as create prototypes for business and operation to reduce cost, increase efficiency and ultimately create value.
Requirements:
Master degree or above (PhD preferred) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines, you will have at least 5 years of experiences in data analysis, data mining, artificial intelligence, computer vision or related areas. You will have solid foundation of probability and statistics (i.e. estimation theory, time series, multivariate statistics, linear models), knowledge of machine learning and deep learning frameworks (i.e. XGBoost, LightGBM, Tensorflow) and familiar with Linux environment, common developing tools and version management systems. It is essential to have strong knowledge of Python, C/C++ with STL & Boost, GPU acceleration with experience in CUDA and cuDNN, Scala and distributed calculation such as Spark/ Hadoop. You will also be someone with excellent research and analysis skills, communication and presentation skills, creative, ethnical and able to demonstrate integrity and commitment to the job. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese will be required.
