About Our Client
Our client is a highly regarded fintech company with a long history and they are looking for a legal counsel join their expanding team.
About The Role
- Providing legal advice to support business units and internal clients in their commercial decision making process and contract negotiation
- Negotiating and drafting agreements and various legal documents as and when required
- Reviewing and providing comment on external agreements and documents
- Developing, maintaining and updating a comprehensive list of agreement templates
- Dealing with legal, compliance and regulatory issues
- Providing legal support to overseas/cross-border consultancy projects
- Assisting in company secretarial work
Requirements
- Hong Kong qualified lawyer, around 6 - 10 years' post qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house
- Solid commercial experience gained from reputable law firms preferred
- Strong knowledge in corporate/commercial law (expertise/knowledge in TMT is an advantage)
- Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Mature and able to work independently
