About Our Client
Our client is a growing company within luxury retail sector. To cope with business expansion, they are hiring a Brand Protection Assistant to support with suspected counterfeit products review, intelligence collation & analysis and also evidence gathering / compilation.
About The Role
Reporting into the Legal Director, you will assist in reviewing suspected counterfeit products i.e. drafting legal letters and archiving exhibits and specimens for criminal/ civil matters, also assist with evidence gathering / compilation to support infringement actions. You will be responsible for intelligence collation and analysis oversight, also devise and implement intellectual property enforcement programmes in APAC regions (inclusive of product knowledge, preparing training materials, arrange trainings and relevant workshops etc.) You will also assist with daily admin maters including managing database, maintaining legal documents and also working with global team on annual exercises such as market surveys.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be degree educated with minimum 3+ year's relevant experience as a paralegal / legal executive with solid Intellectual Property experience. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese will be essential for this role, and the ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills will be key to excel in this role. Prior experience working for in-house / retail sector will be highly regarded.
