Job Description
Our client is a state owned asset management firm with stable and profitable growth. To cope with business expansion, they are hiring for an AVP / VP level calibre strong in legal compliance, as part of the Financial Products team.
Reporting into the SVP, you'd partner closely with business heads and assist on legal and compliance matters. You will review funds, special accounts, bonds and relevant documents to ensure the group is in compliance with local regulatory requirements (inclusive of AML and SFC rules); and to develop / promote a strong compliance culture from within. You will also act as the go-to person for any regulatory issues advising on all agreements signed by the group as well as make recommendations on potential legal risks.
The ideal candidate will be postgraduate educated with 3+ years' experience in legal and compliance experience acquired from asset management / securities firms. You will be familiar with the regulatory guidelines on financial products and asset management matters in Hong Kong; supported by strong compliance knowledge particularly in relation to SFC, AML and respective risk issues. Candidates with experience working within state-owned companies highly regarded. This role pays up to $50k per month.
