Our client is a growing Chinese securities firm, currently looking to expand their legal team and is looking for an additional junior Legal Counsel.
About The Role
Our client is now looking for an additional in-house Legal Counsel to join their existing legal team. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will work within a lean team and be responsible for all legal support including reviewing legal documents in relation to investment projects, corporate finance, and also handling notifiable transactions, connected transactions and other matters such as advising on general corporate commercial matters.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' PQE with qualification in Hong Kong gained from reputable law firms in corporate law and regulatory compliance and with strong knowledge of Hong Kong Listing Rules, SFO and related regulatory compliance, or if without, a seasoned corporate M&A / banking lawyer with keen interest to learn and to pick up new assignments. The ideal candidate will be mature and flexible handling variety of work attached with tight deadlines. The ability to work independently, cautiously and efficiently is key to excel in this role. Strong language skills in English and Chinese (both spoken and written) is required, and a passion to work in house as well as to appreciate challenges is a plus.
