About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing lifestyle retailer that designs, develops and manufactures high performance sportswear. As part of business expansion, they are now hiring a young and energetic Legal Counsel to join as part of the management team, targeting qualified lawyer with PQE 5+ with solid regional experience.

About The Role
Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for all legal matters within the small but growing office. You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (leasing, marketing, manufacturing, warehouse-related); provide legal advice around copyright, trademark, right of publicity and domain name issues also support the business on any other legal matters that arise including but not limited to litigation management, employment law, M&A and general corporate legal matters.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with PQE 5+. Trained in reputable law firms and with 3+ years in-house general commercial experience will be essential (ideally from retail sector). You will demonstrate the willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities, and hands on experience drafting and negotiating wide range of contracts. You will also have experience managing trademarks and copyrights, alongside strong attention to detail reviewing contracts. Occasional travel will be required, and fluency in spoken and written Chinese & English are essential.
