Our client is a growing local retailer, now hiring a Legal Manager as part of business expansion.
About The Role
Reporting into the the COO, you will be responsible for all legal matters within the business. You will draft and review corporate/commercial documents including banking-related documents, licesing and distribution or departmental-related agreements and also leases across Greater China region. You will also help handle IP and trademark matters as required, and conduct legal searches maintaining clarity and update statutory records, and also ensure the business' legal policies and practices are meeting with regulatory standards. You will also demonstrate strong communication skills to liaise with external and internal stakeholders as the legal go-to person.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a law degree holder with minimum 5+ years in-house working experience especially around commercial agreements review and drafting. You will demonstrate the tactfulness working/reporting into senior business management team, also somone independently and self-driven working within a fast-moving environment. Knowledge for PRC law will be an advantage and high proficiency in both English and Chinese is required for this role.
