About The Client
Our client is a well-established financial institution providing a diverse range of personal banking and business banking services. They are currently seeking a Manager for the Business Finance team, targeting candidates with 10+ years business finance / financial analysis experience to join as part of the growing team.
About The Role
Reporting into the Functional Head, you will sit with the business to support the banking and financial services business and proactively provide insights and analysis to help drive optimal performance. You will:
- Provide decision support and partnering advice to business stakeholders
- Reviewing, challenging and reporting financial results within the bank's personal & business banking division
- Prepare dashboard and balanced scorecard of the business and keep track of progress
- Drive, design and deliver targeted analysis that gives meaningful insights into business performance
- Responsible for monthly management reports, budget and forecast analytical work
- Ad-hoc work including projects and presentations to management
- Work on various process improvement initiatives
Requirements
As a confident and driven individual, your attention to detail and demonstrated communication skills will help provide the platform for you to tell the story behind the numbers. To be a successful applicant, you will be a degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or relevant disciplines, with 10+ years experience where you have demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, an ability to interrogate data, an ultimately be responsible for delivering actionable insights to a range of stakeholders. You will also come with a background in finance or analytics from retail/personal/business banking segment, proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools such as SAS, SQL will be an advantage. Good command of both English and Chinese will be required for this role.
