Job Description
New headcount under fast expanding data management team at large corporate bank
Responsibilities:
- Participate in equity data aggregation for business intelligence analysis by using data visualisation techniques
- Drive analytics and insights using existing data tools such as SQL, Python, BI Reporting modules
- Analyse trends at various levels within the organisation to identify impacts
- Work with teams to identify process improvement or automation opportunities and influence data governance strategies
- Prepare analysis reports for key stakeholders allowing an understanding of data-analysis steps and potential outcome
- Perform and automate analytic to assess quality and meaning of data
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience, ideally with previous exposure in financial database
- Knowledge of programming languages like SQL and Python
- Technical proficiency in data models and techniques for data mining
- Strong problem solving skills
- Team-working skills and able to present data to wider audience for decision making
