Manager/Director - Technical Team
About the Client
Our client is an expanding professional services firm with a portfolio of sizable HK listed clients. To cope with their business needs, they are looking for a Manager/Director to provide technical support for their practice.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be solely responsible for handling practice view and liaising with SFC. You will need to review and update existing accounting and assurance standards and develop a control system to maintain the audit quality of the firm. You will provide technical solutions for the audit teams on audit issues and accounting treatments. Also, you will design training programmes and be the trainer to gear up audit teams' accounting and audit knowledge.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a Senior Manager/Director grade audit professional from a sizable professional services firm. Experience in Technical Department is highly preferred. Candidates with very strong technical accounting knowledge from Assurance Department will also be considered. Chartership (HKICPA/ACCA) is required. You will be someone who has an genuine interest in financial reporting and audit technical development. Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills are required. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required. Immediately available is an advantage.
