About Our Client
Our client is a leading home product buying office and employs over 70,000 people worldwide. Due to the business expansion plan, they are looking for a Merchandiser in Hong Kong office.
Job Duties
- Manage all activities of possible sourcing units and projects
- Review the vendor base, source and develop new vendors and products
- Coordinate with different functional teams to ensure the delivery schedule, all requirements, and OTIF targets are met
- Update and communicate with stakeholders about projects CPAs, potential issues and solutions to ensure effective communication and all CPAs are well managed
- Prepare trip itineraries and arrange site visit with reports on risks and opportunities highlights
- Maintain accurate and updated information in quotation and product data system to ensure all quote sheets and forms are accurately completed on schedule
- Organize and validate product samples, and manage artwork development and packaging with related functional teams
- Negotiate buying terms and cost price to achieve the organizational target
- Monitor and voice out any risk on cost price increase, conflicts, and business planning by providing alerts and solutions to avoid and resolve the potential issues
Requirement
- Diploma holder or above in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of experience in sourcing role
- Experience in sourcing Home accessories and Bathroom products is preferable
- Fluent communication in English and Chinese
- Experience in ERP/SAP systems is preferable
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel is preferable
