About our Client
Our client is a leading homeware retail chain store with a strong business presence in Europe. As the company is expanding its global supply chain function rapidly, they are now looking to bring in a high calibre Merchandising Manager to join the outdoor furniture department in Hong Kong sourcing hub.
About the Role
Report to the Sourcing Director based in Hong Kong, this is a leadership role. You will lead a large team to monitor production and shipment schedule. By working closely with the quality department, you will ensure product compliance and quality. Moreover, you will review internal process to improve efficiency, product knowledge, and expertise.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree or above qualification with at least 6 years relevant merchandising experience in outdoor furniture/ seasonal electrical.
- Extensive supplier network in China
- Independent thinking with good initiative
- Sharp analytical mind, ability to identify and solve problems
- Frequent business travel
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
