About The Client
Our client is a luxury retail company with good business performance despite the pandemic. As part of business expansion, they are hiring a Paralegal to join as part of the APAC Legal & Compliance team. The role would report into the APAC General Counsel, and start as a contractor (2 year contract) with high potential to turn into permanent.
About The Role
Report into the APAC General Counsel, you will be responsible for:
- Legal and company secretarial support
- Review and draft legal and/or company secretary related documents
- Conduct legal researches and assist with ad hoc projects as assigned
- Maintain legal databses and update company/corporate information
- Liaise with external vendors and counsels as appropriate
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- 2+ years relevant paralegal experience from MNC environment, experience in luxury retail sector a plus
- Candidate with experiece from solicitor firms / service providers will also be considered
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Tactful communications skills liaising with senior business stakeholders
- High proficiency in English alongside a positive attitude and detailed mind
- Immediate available candidates highly regarded
