About our Client:
Our client is a multinational IT company providing cognitive solution and cloud platform to enable business transformation. To cope with their business demand, they are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to join their HK IT team and run the PeopleSoft project.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will provide PeopleSoft Operating System Patches, Operating System Settings and Storage Requirement for the hardware installation and configuration. You will create the Technical Architect document/ diagram and establish the PeopleSoft environment through configuring the PeopleSoft to integrate with MS Active Directory and Oracle Access Manager for Single Sign On; providing scripts for the Startup, Shutdown and Health Check of PeopleSoft and housekeeping scripts for Oracle Database log files (Alert Logs, DB Dump Files) monitored by Oracle Enterprise Manage; design and configure the Oracle Database with DR, HA and encryption approach; configure the workflow mailer of PeopleSoft to integrate with the email server; and configure the OS environment. Working closely with IBM Hardware Team, you will identify issues related to OS or hardware. You will be writing testing plan and scripts, setting up the performance test tool and executing the testing.
Requirements:
Degree educated in Computer Science or elated disciplines, you will have at least 5 years of hand-on experiences on PeopleSoft implementation not limited to installation, instance management and cloning, patch installation and administration, and database administration. You will also require having at least 2 end-to-end PeopleSoft project implementation/ upgrading experience. With a good understanding in application development using PL/ SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle Application Framework, you will be someone with strong communication skills and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Proficiency in written and spoken in English and Cantonese will be required.
