About the Client
Our client is a tier 1 Luxury Fashion Maison. They are currently in search for a Regional Public Relations Manager to oversee the PR strategies and support the brand's overall retail presence for the Asia Pacific region.
About the Role
- Serve as the gate keeper of the APAC Public Relations function and report to the Regional Marketing & PR Director
- Develop and monitor the regional PR activities to ensure smooth executions and alignment to the global brand strategic initiatives
- Partner with the Buying and Retail teams to understand the upcoming seasonal trends of the fashion world and identify the optimal positioning and communication strategies
- Manage resources efficiently; review and analyze PR performance and further fine-tune existing approach
- Prepare monthly PR & advertising updates to APAC and top management
- Establish and maximize relations with press, key celebrities, bloggers, KOLs, business partners to support the global and local brand building objectives
- To keep abreast on industry trends and make appropriate recommendations on effective communication strategies
- Monitor & work closely with the selected PR agencies during an event from pre-event planning, event execution and post-event pitching
Requirements
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years PR experience with any high-end fashion brands
- Regional exposure will be an advantage
- Passionate towards fashion and Retail sector
- Extensive media relationships in fashion/lifestyle industry is a must
- Familiar with all traditional and new PR tactics to maximize earned media value
- Communicative with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders effectively
- Outspoken with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Immediate available is preferred
