Our client is a leading art & heritage operator in Hong Kong and it offers the best heritage and arts experiences in the community. Due to business expansion, the team is seeking for a high calibre Procurement Manager to join the team.
About the Role
Report to Head of Corporate Services, you will lead a team of 2 to develop corporate procurement strategies for the company. You will work with senior management and finance team to create and maintain comprehensive project budgets and schedules to track overall project performance. You will perform final quality review of all documentation prior to submission for Department approvals (including contract, tracking reports and funding documents). You will ensure the procurement activity is aligned with the project requirements and clear flow down of procurement tasks / work packages are identified and measured to meet the procurement plan schedules. Last but not least, you will establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal users, in-house designers, suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirement
- Degree in Purchasing or Supplies Management discipline with at least 10 years experience in procurement, buying or project management. Prior exposure with public or cultural sector would be advantageous
- Analytical mind with strong business acumen and good in change management, problem solving and customer orientation
- An independent thinker, with strong planning and implementation skills and ability to drive change, manage and engage a diverse group of stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
