Our client is a leading financial institutions with presence around the world. With an increasing growth and a vision to drive digital transformation, they are now seeking for a Project Lead, Network and Data Center Migration

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will lead the end to end movement of assets from the old Datacentre to the new Datacentre which include working with vendors to ensure scheduling of all activities such as patching/unpatching, racking/unracking, movement and QA activities are executed. Communicating with regional team, you will work closely with the application and migration teams to ensure a smooth migration within approved change windows. Managing and updating stakeholders and documentation throughout the project via formal and informal routes. Lastly, work with C-level executives on project status, project vision, strategic direction and industry best practices

The Successful Candidate

  • Minimum of 12 years' experience as a Project Management, in particular IT Infrastructure projects such as Datacentre migrations. Familiar with working on large-scale projects, with numerous geographically dispersed stakeholders
  • Significant and demonstrable experience in Datacentre Migration projects
  • Exemplar organisation and project management skills.
  • Well presented, articulate confident and professional in approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop trust in others at all levels within an organisation
  • Experience with medium to large scale Data Center Migration experience
  • Experience managing upgrades to technology i.e. server, network, telecom
  • Full life cycle project management experience from project initiation to project closure.
  • Good command in Chinese and English
