About the client

Our client is a listed conglomerate with operations that include investment in property and property development, commercial aircraft leasing, construction, insurance, hotels and as well as other countless strategic businesses. They are now looking for a smart and proactive team member to join their ever growing team.

About the role

Be able to proactively formulate communications and media relations plans and content to enhance the brand and reputation of the Group from a retail and consumer perspective. Utilise 'out of the box' thinking to develop creative ideas that differentiate the Group's PR strategy and content in the consumer market. Actively manage reactive media queries and responses in a timely manner. Have scheduled plans to review company media materials to ensure they are aligned with the Group's brand vision and retail branding strategy. Able to drive PR campaigns as part of broader integrated branding projects, including but not limited to video and content production. Identify opportunities to maximise content across different international and local media channels, including social media. Able to work with and advise Group retail and consumer subsidiaries on PR projects, ensuring alignment and consistency of messaging and approach. Most importantly being able to establish and effectively maintain relationships with international and local media.

Requirements

· Bachelor Degree holder with a major in Public Affairs, Journalism, Communications, Business/ Marketing related disciplines

· Minimum 7 years of relevant experience gained from in-house PR or PR agency roles

· Demonstrated experienced with writing as well as developing PR strategies and campaigns for consumer brands

· Sound knowledge of international media landscape and understanding of content and topics that resonate with international audiences

· Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese

· Familiar with corporate communications as an integrated practice

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with highly developed interpersonal skills

· Strong time management skills to ensure multiple tasks simultaneously are completed within compressed timeframes,with the ability to work under pressure

· Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with attention to detail

· Excellent planning and project management skills, with keen attention to prioritization, execution, deadlines and quality out-put

· Ability to work as a team-player and across a variety of different departments
