Our client is a renowned company with a significant presence globally. Over the years, they have established a dominant market position in their industry and due to a continued global business expansion and digital transformation strategies, a Regional Cloud and Infrastructure Manager has risen.
About the Role
Reporting to the department head, you will be a leading member of the cloud team member in delivering cloud architecture projects. You will work with cloud engineers and developers on engagements to deliver end-to-end solutions and also develop detailed-level design requirements for architecture implementations. In addition, you will work internally to develop delivery guides, assessments, and common architecture patterns for cloud architecture projects on a regional level. This also includes cloud security, governance, and other foundational aspects of cloud computing. Lastly, work with infrastructure team, larger engineering team, and individually to build scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions.
The successful candidate
- A Bachelor's degree in Computing or Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years IT work experience in designing and developing scalable and secure enterprise, B2B and B2C solutions
- Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Certification, and/or Google Cloud Engineer Certification a plus. (Other cloud-related certifications are also a plus
- Experience in large-scale migration of application workloads from on-prem or collocated data centres to a cloud platform
- Demonstrated experience implementing cloud platform services to achieve business solutions
- Experience implementing infrastructure as code using cloud formation and/or Terraform
- Experience managing Docker/Kubernetes workload
- Good command in English and Chinese
