Our client is a well-established brand with a solid presence in Asia. A new opportunity now exits for a talent to join them as Regional Director of Buying and Production.
About the Role
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the senior management, you will own the buying and production functions for the business spreading in Asia. Working closely with the product design team, you will lead the buying plan covering the full categories for Asian markets, work on buying budget, assortment details to cater the needs of the partners in the markets. You will control the sell in performance to support the sales through achievement in the countries. In addition, you will be supported by an experienced and sizeable team to oversee the production placing in different countries, manage the process from end to end to ensure the efficient delivery of quality products to the destinations. As the member of management team, you will have a close interaction with CEO and the Board to review the sales performance by category by market, able to witness the downfalls, identify and lead the reactive plan for the markets.
Requirements
To qualify, successful individual must possess:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Management or other related disciplines
- 15+ years buying experience from the fast fashion label
- Proven knowledge in production management for a sizeable retail brand
- Background from Asian markets
- Numerical, strategic, face paced, sensitive to the market changes
- Sound stakeholder management and communications skills
- Passionate in detail and retail, hands on and committed in the job
