Regional Internal Audit Director, Asia Pacific
About Our Client
Our client is an overseas listed corporation whose main revenue stream is from medical device manufacturing. A rare opportunity now arises for a seasoned Internal Audit Director to head up their regional internal audit team in Hong Kong.
About The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and the Global Internal Audit Director, you will lead a team of 5 in Hong Kong and perform internal audits for 10 countries in Asia Pacific region. You will develop Annual Audit Plan and mid and long term Strategic Audit Plan with a risk-based methodology. You will review and approve audit scope, audit program and audit resources allocation. You will ensure that independent assurance and consulting services, together with practical recommendations, are delivered to the operations of Asia Pacific region. Also, you will lead the SOX assessment process and assist in the investigation of fraudulent activities.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you should be a degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines. CPA, CIA, CISA or other relevant qualifications are required. You should possess at least 15 years of relevant experience from Big 4 and multi-national organizations, including at least 10 years at managerial positions. A strong understanding of the manufacturing or healthcare industry is definitely an advantage. You should have strong communication, presentation and analytical skills with high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. 30 - 40% traveling is required.
