About The Client
Our client is an MNC fast retailer with an iconic brand image and corporate culture. As part of business expansion, they are now hiring a Regional Legal Manager based in Hong Kong to lead and oversee all legal matters across APAC and China.

About The Role
This is a full-scope legal role reporting into the Global Legal Head based in the headquarters. You will:

- Monitor legal requirements relating to the industry, and advising business teams as appropriate to minimise operational risks
- Overall responsibilities for daily legal affairs including but not limited to consultancy, contracts, advise, tackle legal disputes and issues
- Draft, review and maintain variety of legal documents, contract templates and other necessary materials
- Manage IP litigation disputes and make recommendations
- Plan and deliver legal training of legal compliance and relevant requirements
- Provide ad-hoc legal support to business on daily basis and ad hoc projects
- Collaborate with global legal colleagues, business team and external counsels

- Degree holder in law or relevant disciplines with international exposure
- 10+ years of in-house legal experience from retail sector, prior APAC experience essential, China exposure a definite advantage
- Work independently within a small office and as a one-man-band, also a team player who can communicate with different levels of staff within the office
- Analytical and assertive advising and influencing business stakeholders on decision making
- Proficient in both English and Chinese
- Candidates with short notice an advantage
