About The Client
Our client is a prominent Hong Kong-based conglomerate with a diverse business portfolio spanning multiple industries. To support the company's continued growth and financial positioning, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Accountant , sitting under the corporate consolidation function.
About The Role
- Reporting to the assistant financial manager
- Analyze consolidated financial performance, provide insights, and recommend actions to improve efficiency
- Document and continuously improve consolidation processes and best practices
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of consolidated financial reporting systems
- Liaise with finance teams across the group's business units to ensure consistent application of accounting standards
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, or equivalent) with at least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience
- Proven track record in a consolidation or group accounting role, preferably in a diversified, multi-business conglomerate
- Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS/HKFRS) and complex consolidation principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues
- Proficient in the use of financial reporting systems and advanced Excel modeling
- Strong project management and process improvement skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to present to senior leaders
- Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin an advantage
