About the client
My client is one of the largest container terminal operator in Hong Kong, it is handling over 5 million standard container transactions per year. In order to revamp the facilitate and expand their business, they are looking for a Senior Engineer to join it civil engineering team.
About the role
- Report to Civil Engineering Manager
- Lead a team to handle the whole projects - e.g. planning, designing, tendering
- Involve in various types of projects - including but not limited to berth / marine works / yard improvement works, new berths and new buildings
- Liaise with government authorities for teminal improvement
- Prepare annual budget for maintenance and improvement works
- Occasionally travel to China to provide professional knowledge to China team support
The successful applicants
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 years relevant working experience of which at least 2 years in supervisory capacity
- Knowledge in project management and experience related to major infrastructural projects preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
- Conversant with PC applications
- With valid driving license preferable
