About Our Client
Our client is a leading Chinese bank. They are now looking for a team leader for the management reporting team, targeting candidates with 8+ years relevant experience from CPA firms and financial institutions.
About The Role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will lead a team of 6 and be in charge for the management accounting function, including but not limited to budgetting, forecast planning, cost accounting and driving relevant analysis on business performance. You will utilise financial data to provide management information for policies making; develop a strategy meeting business' objectives to enhance business performance and results. You will also handle annual audit, HKMA returns and tax return submissions, whilst work closely with regulatory bodies e.g. external auditors.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a degree holder in Accounting and relevant disciplines, with minimum 8+ years management accounting experience ideally from banking sector. You will demonstrate a strong coaching style leading a team, and with the ability to deliver despite a fast-paced work environment and tight deadlines. You will also be someone detail and result-oriented, who can come in to upskill the management accounting team, and demonstrate strong influencing skills working with business stakeholders. High proficiency in written and spoken Chinese will be required for this role with the Chinese bank.
