Our client is one of the Chinese commercial banks with well-established history in Hong Kong. They are now looking for a Senior HR Manager to oversee their C&B and HR operations as the team's functional lead.
About The Role
Reporting into the HR Director, you will work within the lean team and be responsible for full spectrum C&B activities including but not limited to payroll management, medical insurance, taxation, MPF, benefits admin and valuation, final payment etc. You will take lead in implementing performance and rewards strategies/ policies and conduct annual C&B exercises for the bank as appropriate. You will also help review and recommend staff benefits programmes to ensure competitiveness compared with peer banks. On top of which, this role will also help with streamlining existing HR operations workflow and support with HR compliance fulfilling regulatory requirements. Ad hoc projects will be assigned.
The ideal candidate will be a degree holder, with 10+ years relevant C&B / HR Shared Services experience acquired from financial services sector (experience from commercial banks a plus). You will be familiar with the local labour ordinance and legislation, with track record in the design and implementation of HR policy and C&B strategies. You will also demonstrate strong communications and influencing skills to business stakeholders, also someone who can challenge status quo and be a change agent to transform existing HR team culture and practices. Proficiency in Mandarin and Chinese required for this role, and immediate available candidates highly regarded.
