Due to business expansion in Asia market, there is a newly created of Senior Indirect Procurement Manager role in Hong Kong office.
About your role:
- Independently leading and/or supporting strategic sourcing events and supplier negotiations in APAC markets
- Analyze spend data and other resources to identify savings opportunities and uncover additional insights
- Support legal team on ensuring NDAs, MSAs, SOWs are executed and tracked
- Manage supplier performance and relationships to ensure the organization's expectations are met
- Developing processes to support the business owners in procurement of services in store development business unit.
- Participating in conversations with business unit leadership to highlight potential savings opportunities, understand the requirements of the business, and support decision-making
- Conduct ongoing reviews of categories and using strategic tools to inform future category strategies and activities
- Participating in development of category strategies and sourcing approaches
- Tracking performance of the procurement organization against established metrics and providing reporting to leadership
- Validated projected savings from sourcing events and other sources
- Identifying needs of the business units regarding procurement-related education and supporting development of training sessions/materials
- Supporting creation and communication of standardized procurement policies and processes
Job Requirement:
- 10 years or above experience in procurement or other managerial positions at multi-national corporations with focuses on category management and/or supplier management, experienced in luxury retail industry is preferred
- In-depth understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes;
- Solid knowledge/ experience in strategic sourcing/ procurement and commercial & contract management tools and techniques
- Familiar with e-Procurement tools development and operation
- Excellent stakeholder management skill and able to establish collaborative relationship with all levels in the company as well as suppliers
- Strong negotiating skill with proactive and positive attitude
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Mandarin is a plus.
