About Our Client

Our client is a well-established NGO with a long history in serving the Hong Kong community. They are looking for a seasoned Senior Internal Audit Manager to join their organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead a small team to oversee the development and operation of Internal Audit Department with an advisory role to the Senior Management and the Board on risk management issues. You will be strategically and operationally involved in providing independent and objective findings to the Audit Committee and Senior Management of the organization with appropriate as well as constructive recommendations respectively. In addition, you will take lead to formulate compliance policies and procedures and identify uncertainties and potential threats along with feasible advice and solutions. Last but not least, you will identify any applicable compliance issues to the organization under the prevailing ordinances, rules and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, you should be a degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with a recognized accounting professional qualification or holder of CIA. You should have at least 10-15 years of relevant working experience in Internal Audit with at least 8 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of auditing and clear concepts of corporate governance with excellent report writing and presentation skills are necessary. It would be an advantage if you have previously worked for a NGO or government body. You should be able to work under pressure with high integrity, analytical and communication skills. Fluency in Cantonese and English is essential.
