Our client is a global fashion luxury group consisting of iconic brands committing to glamorous style and craftsmanship. The brands have a built the reputation on designing exceptional, innovative products that cover the full spectrum of fashion luxury categories. Due to business expansion in Asia, the team is looking for a Senior Logistics & Distribution Director to transform and lead its logistics operation across APAC.
About your role:
- Report to SVP, Supply Chain based in HQ, you will lead a team of 20 across APAC.
- Functional head of warehousing and distribution in the region for all brands
- Formulate the strategic initiative, tactical activities and network study
- Lead contract negotiation with logistics and 3PL DC service provider
- Support in-market teams of the order fulfillment to all sales channels, including wholesales,
franchisee, own & operates stores, ecommerce - B2C & B2B2C - Process re-engineering for logistics & distribution function
- Support WMS & RFID project implementation
- Develop and maintain an effective networking with leading warehousing and transportation 3PLs
The ideal candidate:
- Minimal of 15 years of experience in supply chain with a focus on Logistics operations and Customer fulfillment
- Bachelor's degree in supply Chain management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field. An MBA or Master's degree is strongly preferred
- Experience in operational excellence, with Lean, Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology
- Experience managing global resources, international environment
- Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio
- Advanced Skills in: Mini-Tab, Access, SQL, Visual Basic Skills for Data Acquisition and Analysis
