Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the business intelligence operations and support business user requests of data enablement and visualization
- Assist and train business users to reveal and uncover insights by exploring and mining structured and unstructured data
- Acting as a liaison between the business user and IT teams
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders
- Collect, elicit, validate and document the business problems, requirements and processes
- Decompose business requirements into functional requirements for solution design
- Work closely with business users & IT to align the understanding of business goal, requirements and solution
- Liaise between stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate timely and successful delivery of solutions
- Monitor the performance of the system change request process and project execution, and review for workflow and process improvement for the department
- Assist the managers in managing a team of business analysts in the department if the qualification of Assistant Manager position is met
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science/Information System/IT or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience, preferably in the telecom space
- Experience with IT project management, process reengineering, business flow design and data analytics
- Knowledgeable in Web and mobile app design & development, SQL programming, Cognos and Tableau reporting, and multidimensional-DB
- Hands-on experience in Tableau, Qlik , BI, CRM, ERP solution implementation is advantage
- Ability to understand the as-is process, conduct gap analysis with new system features/functionality and come up with the to-be process
- Experience in team leading and managing staff is advantage for the Assistant Manager position
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work under tight timeline
- Good team player with excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese)
- Mature, dynamic, self-motivated and able to work independently
