About The Client
Our client is a sizeable corporation in Hong Kong. As part of business strategy, they are hiring a seasoned L&D professional to join their HR team, and help build and enhance the training curriculum (which includes soft skills training and technical training inclusive of Carbon Neutral, ESG / sustainability-related programmes). L&D professionals with experience working for technical industries e.g. property, engineering, chemical and public organisations will be highly regarded.

About The Role
Reporting into the Head of HR, you will lead a team of 3 and assume the following responsibilities:

- Manage and be responsible for ongoing development of the compnay's learning roadmap, and the ongoing maintenance and further development of the training curriculum
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to understand skills gap and assure appropriate L&D programmes are in place and aligned with business priorities, needs and outcomes
- Collaborate with variety of stakeholders including the leadership team, functional leaders, and the HR and Talent Management & Organisation Development CoE - in order to support learning content curation and creation
- Stay up to date on learning trends and technologies especiaily within the industry to offer best-in-class user-centered experience
- Drive and transform best-in-class and innovative learning experiences for employees and enable them to thrive

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of education, human resources, psychology or business administration
- 15-20+ years of relevant work experience, including significant experience in learning and development
- Solid project management experience, ideally including agile project management and a passion for innovative projects
- Excellent leadership skills and stakeholder management
- Deep knowledge about current developments in the L&D space, methods, and tools
- Proficiency in English and Chinese - oral and written
- Profesional expereice in training as a trainer, coach or designer would be a plus
- Prior work experience in engineering, property & construction, chemical and public organisations will help excel in this role
