About Our Client

Our client is a leading fast fashion retailer from Europe with an extensive global market share in worldwide. Due to business expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Merchandiser for Baby wear (Knit) in Hong Kong office

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate all end-to-end sourcing activities and handling orders to ensure satisfactory execution of all POs placed and KPIs are met
  • Communicate order details and requirements to suppliers and manage process to ensure all specifications and time line plans are achieved
  • Analyze and negotiate the best price to achieve the organizational target
  • Handle all order process activities and resolve problems with manufacturers to ensure the order standards are met
  • Coordinate with different functional teams for whole end-to-end process to ensure the required standards are met
  • Develop new suppliers and review suppliers performance to ensure sustainability requirements are met with providing corrective plans

Requirement

  • Diploma holder or above in Fashion & Textile or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years of experience in garment sourcing market, buying office
  • Experience in Knit, Kids wear, Baby wear product categories is advantageous
  • Experience in product development is advantageous
  • Experience in leading teams is advantageous
  • Fluent communication in English and Mandarin
  • Immediately available is preferred
